Some of the most notable and well-known Irish whiskies are blended. Though that isn’t a sign of their character - a single distillery can produce a wide variety of whiskey - from light and airy to dark and earthy, the only requirement of Irish whiskey is that it’s aged for at least three years in Ireland.
