Spirits | Tequila | Blanco

This tequila, called blanco, or white, is never aged in wooden barrels so the color isn’t imparted. With no time to rest and mellow the flavors, blancos are often sharper and more tangy than their older siblings. Important to note is that it only comes from the blue agave, and the percentage of that agave makes a difference in the end flavor.
