Spirits | Tequila | Mezcal
The saying goes that all tequila is mezcal, but not all mezcal is tequila. While the former can only be made from the Blue Weber agave plant, mezcal can be made from any of the 24+ agave species, or even a blend. That doesn’t change the fact that Mexico only allows production in certain regions of the country.
