Translating to “rested” in Spanish, this tequila is aged for at least several months to a year in big wooden tanks. Often caught between the sharp blanco and the flavorful anejo, reposado has a briny flavor that makes it unique, while the oak barrel aging process mellows out some of the sharper, younger flavors.
