If whiskey be the water of life, drink on. And though it’s disputed who first came up with the idea of distilling down beer, it’s fact that the earliest distilled ethanols were referred to as Aqua Vitae, Latin for life water. Known across the world for sparking deep conversation, novels, and new inventions, there’s no surprise that whiskey has found it’s way into every culture and continent around the globe, each one adding their own flair to this ancient drink.
